Cinnarizine Tablets help in the treatment of nausea and vomiting due to motion sickness. It contains Cinnarizine and is known as a drowsy anti-histamine, which works by restricting the constriction of the inner ear’s blood vessels. As a result, this improves the microcirculation of the ear.

Uses Of Cinnarizine Tablets

Cinnarizine Tablets contain an ‘antihistamine’ medication, primarily used to treat nausea and vomiting due to Travel sickness (motion sickness). It is also used to treat the body’s balancing problem caused by Meniere disease, ringing in the ears, vertigo (a spinning sensation or dizziness), and hearing loss.

How should I take Cinnarizine Tablets for motion sickness?

Firstly, consult with your health advisor or doctor for its dosages. To prevent motion sickness in adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age, 2 tablets of Cinnarizine can be administered two hours before travel. If necessary, 1 tablet can be given every 8 hours during the journey. However, children between 5 and 12 years old can take one tablet 2 hours before travel. If necessary, you can also give half a tablet every eight hours during the trip. 

What are the symptoms if I take an overdose of Cinnarizine Tablets?

An overdose of these Tablets can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, tremors, uncontrollable muscle spasms, muscle weakness or loss of muscle strength, sleep or loss of consciousness. Small children can also have seizures. If you accidentally take too many tablets or if a small child accidentally takes this medicine, tell your doctor and seek medical attention immediately.
