Sumatriptan Succinate IP 85 Mg +Naproxen Sodium USP 500 Mg-Sumatriptan and naproxen are both ingredients of the combination medication known as Napros Tablet, which is used to treat migraines. Sumatriptan, a selective agonist of the 5HT1 receptor, reduces headaches by constricting the enlarged blood vessels in the brain. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) called naproxen reduces migraine-related general inflammation and pain by blocking the release of specific chemical messengers.
