Naproxen and Domperidone Tablets is a combination of two drugs: naproxen and domperidone. Naproxen blocks the action of cyclooxygenase (COX), an enzyme in the body that generates various chemicals that cause severe pain and swelling, such as prostaglandins. Domperidone is an antiemetic that prevents nausea and vomiting by blocking various receptors (such as serotonin and dopamine) that stimulate the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) in the brain.
